These are snapshots taken at a recent (Aug. 14th, 2010) one day workshop for the Tulsa Town Tolers.  They requested a workshop in pastel portraiture from a photograph.  There were 28 students signed up for the workshop and only three couldn't make it.  It was a great experience for me.
Thank you to the wonderful artist/photographer who took these pictures of the event.  I lost your information but would love to treat you to lunch.  Whenever you like.  Call me.

I will be giving a demonstration from a live model for the Bartlesville Art Association on the 21st of Sept. 2010.  I haven't decided which medium yet.
It could be oil, watercolor, pastel, acrylic or graphite.  The model will be Dedra Morgan.  A fantastic model and friend who has sat for me before.  A three day workshop is planned for the very near future.   Hugs, Evelyn

Thank you to all the Bartlesville Art Association members who came to my demo in Bartlesville.   Thank you also for your curtesy and  professionalism.   Dedra Morgan was a fantastic model as usual.     As some of us know, Nomatter how many times one gives a demo or workshop  in one's career we still appreciate a pleasant audience who are  gracious and professional.   I have, for the most part had many pleasant experience doing these demos but then,  Bartlesville has always been a gracious host to all the artists who have been fortunate enough to be asked to demo or teach there.   Evelyn Petroski
